It has begun
Gardening has been on my to-do list for a while now.
Now that I'm home all the time, I figured I'd get started.
A few weeks ago I bought a dwarf tomato plant seeds and stuff that came in a can at the Winco.
I put the soil it came with and the seeds in it and after a few days, the seeds sprouted. Woot woot!
With that little victory, I decided to go all out -- well, as all out as my patio would allow.
I already store two kayaks on the apartment's patio, but I thought I could get a few pots and small planters and be good to go.
After an online order at Home Depot (total $47) and a run inside the big box store for plants and seeds ($17), I've got some things that will hopefully grow.
I trimmed the "wild" rose bush that grows in the corner down.
Now I just have to wait and water and hope there's enough sunlight on my patio.
